Glen Hansard is back with the first volume of a brand new, two-part album recorded over his 55th birthday at the iconic Funkhaus Berlin venue and studio complex.

Don+t Settle (Vol. 1 - Transmissions East) is a studio album, but a studio album recorded in front of a live audience over two very special spring nights in Berlin. Looking both forward and back (“East and West”), it is a retrospective of sorts that both showcases some of Glen's best loved songs, and encapsulates the live energy for which Glen is known as a performer.
